Two old traditions, used together.

Chinese clinical medicine has, for nearly two thousand years, used a six-phase framework to describe how the body responds to the seasons. Chinese farmers, for as long, have used a calendar of twenty four solar terms tied to real weather, not to months. Both still work. We bring them to your kitchen. Every fifteen days, when the season turns, you receive food, recipes, and small lifestyle notes shaped to where your body sits and what the weather is actually doing.

The map of the body through the year

Six pattern phases arranged around the year. Each one becomes most active at a particular stretch of the calendar. Pick a person below to see where they sit. Slide through the year to watch the season move them.

Six phases around the wheel, in order of their seasonal window. Yang phases on top (warm and outer), yin phases on bottom (cool and inner). Balanced sits at the center.

How it works

01

Take the quiz

Nineteen questions about how you've actually been feeling lately. Sleep, digestion, energy, mood, weather sensitivity. Five minutes.

02

See your phase

One main phase, sometimes one secondary influence. Three foods to start with for the term we are in. Educational, not diagnostic.

03

Receive notes every term

When the solar term changes, we send food, a recipe, and a short practice shaped to your phase and the new term.

A clay pot of clear broth with white fish, asparagus, lily bulb, and ginger, photographed in soft window light.

What you actually receive

Every fifteen days you get an email like the one shown. It is built for the phase you scored highest on and the term that is starting. The recipe to the left is from the Yangming bundle for Lìxià, the term that begins summer. Asparagus, white fish, and lily bulb soup. Inside the email is the recipe, the foods to lean toward and the ones to ease off, a note on cooking method, a five minute practice, a short video from Frederica, and an answer to one question from a subscriber. Most cook the recipe in the first three days. Many sleep better by night five.

This is for people who already feel that food is medicine and want a real way to act on it.

You grew up around a tradition like this.

Maybe your grandmother knew which foods cooled the body and which warmed it. Maybe the herbs in her kitchen were the same herbs in her medicine cabinet. What we offer is that knowledge, organized clearly enough to use every week.

You take food seriously and want a deeper system.

Maybe you have moved through Whole30, regenerative farms, slow food. You are tired of trends. You want a framework with weight behind it, shaped to seasons, shaped to your body, with two thousand years of careful clinical observation underneath.

The first hundred subscribers pay $9 a month, and keep that price for as long as they stay.

We are launching at Lìxià, the first solar term of summer. The first hundred who join at the founders rate hold that rate. After the hundredth subscriber, the standard tier moves to $19 a month. Plus, which adds a monthly Q and A and the recipe archive, is $19 founders, $29 standard.
